Suzanne Porter is a 2003 graduate of Texas A&M University and a licensed real estate agent with The Bock Group, brokered by Real. After launching her career in North Houston’s thriving real estate market, she discovered her passion for interior design, staging, and home remodeling. That passion led her to a luxury home builder, where she earned recognition for her award-winning kitchen and bathroom designs. Today, Suzanne serves as CEO and lead designer of Retreat & Co, guiding the creative direction and client experience for each project. Her signature style blends refined design sensibility with functional livability—creating spaces that are both timeless and tailored.

Blake Porter brings the foundation and balance that anchor Retreat & Co’s success. With a background in construction and project management, Blake oversees the operational and structural side of the business—from site development and framing to finish-out and quality control. His meticulous attention to detail, hands-on leadership, and commitment to excellence ensure that every project is built to the highest standards. Blake’s practical approach complements Suzanne’s creative eye, making them a dynamic husband-and-wife team who bring both beauty and precision to the building process.

Married since 2005, Suzanne and Blake share not only a business but a deep family bond. Together, they’re raising three sons—Cash, Beau, and Tripp—and when they’re not on a job site, you can find them enjoying college football, family time, or exploring new design inspiration (and maybe a few fancy restaurants along the way).
